Junior Sister/Deputy Charge Nurse (Cardiac Support)

(Maternity leave cover, expected start date April 2020)

Full time: 37.5 hours/week

Salary: £ 30,401- £37,267 (Band 6)

An exciting opportunity (maternity leave cover) has arisen for an experienced Band 6 nurse to work within the cardiac support team. The cardiac support team are based in Outpatients, a busy department with both consultant and nurse led clinics.

The Junior Sister/Deputy Charge Nurse (Cardiac Support) is involved in all aspects of the patient’s journey at Papworth - from time of referral, through their subsequent investigations and treatments, whilst also providing support and advice once discharged from Royal Papworth Hospital.  It is, therefore, essential to have excellent communication and organisational skills and to be able to manage your own workload, as well as working well as a member of the cardiac support and multi-disciplinary teams.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced nurse who would be expected to have experience within a cardiothoracic setting.
