Aneurin Bevan University Health Board has over 6000 births per year and covers a wide geographical area. We currently have obstetric units at the Royal Gwent Hospital and Nevill Hall Hopital, centralisation of the obstetric units will occur in 2021 with the opening of a new critical care centre at the Grange University Hospital located in Cwmbran. In addition we have alongside midwife led birth centres at Nevill Hall and Royal Gwent site and a free standing birth centre in Ysbyty Yst rad Fawr and birthing pod at Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan.

We are currently seeking a full time integrated midwife whilst this is a rotational post, initally it will be to support our community team in the South, this is a flexible position supporting women and their families within the community, with the provision of antenatal and postnatal care. With the addition of working within the alongside birth centre at the Royal Gwent Hospital.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
