Are you a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Registered Nurse looking for an opportunity to work in our surgical team? The Medical Division at the Wrexham Maelor Hospital is a progressive, supportive environment with a dynamic and motivated team.

Our busy but friendly Medical wards are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic permanent nurses wishing to gain experience in a variety of specialist Medical settings. Our wards are an exciting, rewarding and challenging place to work. Our general Medical directorate has a reputation for the highest standards of clinical care.

In these roles you will be expected to work flexibly across the division to support clinical areas with managing high patient acuity or short notice rota gaps.

You may already be working in nursing, be qualifying this year or maybe a registered nurse who wants to return after a career break and be keen to develop professionally and make a significant contribution to the delivery of high quality, safe evidenced based care with a real focus on continually improving the patient experience. Whatever your background, we would like to meet you.

In exchange for your flexibility and commitment we can offer a full induction ,regular appraisals and feedback, and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. For newly qualified nurses a comprehensive preceptorship and opportunities to develop personally and professionally as well as line management and supervision from a designated surgical matron. Further development opportunities and training programs for more experienced staff are also available.

All applicants must be a Registered Nurse and have concurrent validation with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
