Advanced Paediatric Dietitian

We have an opportunity for a Band 7 Advanced Paediatric Dietitian to join our team at Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, for an initial period of 12 months.

You will be part of the developing specialist paediatric service, and the larger team of dietitians, dietetic assistants and clerical support staff who currently provide a proactive, developing service across a range of specialities, based in Warrington hospital.

You will be contributing to providing a dietetic service to both community clinics and Inpatient referrals. Clinics include a general paediatric clinic as well as specialist MDT clinics (Diabetes and Cystic Fibrosis). You will be expected to have experience in these areas as well as general knowledge of paediatric tube feeding.

The department offers excellent support for your professional development and you will be actively supported to engage in CPD and training. You will receive regular and appropriate supervision.

The team is actively involved in dietetic student training placements and there is scope for the successful candidate to contribute significantly in this.

A charge of £60 (Enhanced) will be made by the successful candidate which will be deducted from the first 3 months’ salary. In addition to this, you will also be required to re-pay any future costs that may arise in relation to DBS fees.
