The West Kent Therapies Service is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and talented Band 5 Therapist to join our established Therapy Team.

Our teams of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants cover Community Hospitals and urban and rural areas in West Kent. We see patients with a wide range of problems including musculoskeletal, neurological, orthopaedic and complex co-morbidities. Our staff work closely with our GP partners, Rapid Response, Community Nurses, Complex Care Nurses, Integrated Care, Health & Social Care Coordinators and other members of the multi-disciplinary team.

This post is within the vibrant service based at the Coxheath Clinic where we provide rehabilitation and moving and handling solutions for patients in their own homes as well as in groups in our clinics. Locally we are working closely with our clinical partners on new developments to enhance our excellent patient-centred care

Now is a excellent time to be joining Kent Community Health Foundation Trust as we received an Outstanding rating from our last CQC inspection. Our teams have great opportunities for further career development and support for Continuing Professional Development through our internal training and external courses.

The service responds to the rehabilitation needs of adults of all ages, therefore you will be required to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. If you are a highly motivated individual and willing to work autonomously as well as part of a team then we would like to hear from you.

You must be an HCPC registered Occupational Therapist and will be required to travel around the Trust in a timely manner.

Please note that the salary stated is based on full time working and will be pro rata for part time working.

Agenda for Change posts based within the Dartford, Gravesham & Swanley areas also receive 5% high cost area allowance on top of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £1,017 and a maximum of £1,762. Please note that this element does not apply to bank positions.
