An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist with a special interest in Community Neuro-rehabilitation to join our existing team

Richmond CNRT/ESD offers a multi-disciplinary approach which meets the needs of patients with neurological conditions, including opportunities to work with people discharged home early following a stroke.

You may be a Physiotherapist who has either completed your core band 5 rotations, or an existing band 6 who would like the opportunity to develop your clinical skills further in the speciality of Community Neuro-rehabilitation, whilst influencing service development.

You will have the opportunity to work at the Richmond Rehabilitation Unit, as well as in patients’ own homes and other appropriate settings to facilitate rehabilitation. Supervision of Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapists, Assistants and Students at all levels is a requirement of the post.

Candidates should have:
• A valid HCPC registration
• Relevant post-graduate practical experience in the NHS as a Band 5/6 Physiotherapist including experience working with people with neurological conditions
• Own a car, and be prepared to use it for work (keen cyclists also considered)

Successful candidates for this post will need to be self- motivated, forward thinking and committed to this area of specialism with experience and skills as outlined in the personal specification. Excellent time management is required.

Support and personal development is given through an established supervision and appraisal structure. The department has a protected time policy to support continual professional development.
