An opportunity has arisen to join a busy, friendly team within the Linen & Post service department. You will be responsible for helping to provide a full internal delivery of linen or post items at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS) at the weekend.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Weekend Operating hours are Saturday and Sunday 7.30 am to 11.00 am both days = total of 7 hrs per week

The main purpose of this role is delivering linen and post to ward areas around the Trust.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Topping up and delivery of linen and scrubs items to ward linen cupboards and non ward areas.

Entering data of daily linen requirements from ward areas onto a stock control system using an android tablet device.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Customer focused individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure, and a desire to provide a first class service.

Previous experience in linen or post environment would be an advantage.
