Working in partnership with our service partners, Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals, King’s College Hospital and Bedford NHS Hospital Trusts, we aim to set the standard for the future of pathology.


A vacancy for a registered BMS Band 6 has arisen to join our innovative Histopathology Department, within Viapath Analytics. The Histology department is based at the St. Thomas' Foundation Trust in Westminster.

The department offers a comprehensive range of services to regional and national referring clinicians. The department processes a wide range of surgical specimens and incorporates a Immunohistochemistry and Renal Biopsy section, as well a Molecular laboratory.

The department is fully computerised, has UKAS accreditation and is registered as a training laboratory, where continuing professional development is supported and actively encouraged.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated Health Care Professions Council Registered Biomedical Scientist with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to join our team. Suitable applicants must have prior a good background and experience in Histology, and previous experience in Biopsy Transfer, Special stains and Frozen Sections will be considered a plus. The applicant will participate in the weekly rotation in the core laboratory.
