We are seeking an enthusiastic, forward thinking leader to join our dynamic Blood Sciences team, to further develop our service based at Wexham Hospital.

The successful candidate will work in partnership with clinical leads and the management team. You will be responsible for shaping and delivering one of the hub Blood Sciences departments. You will work collaboratively within our network, continuously improving quality and productivity whilst supporting staff in the achievement of agreed performance standards.

Reporting into our management structure, the excellence of your knowledge and skills will be the cornerstone of this role. However, the key to your success will be in your ability to manage, motivate and bring out the very best in our experienced and talented team of Biomedical Scientists. Accordingly, your interpersonal skills must be of the highest order, and we will be looking for evidence to support this.

The successful applicant will be based at Wexham Park Hospital but travel to the other sites in the Berkshire Surrey Pathology Network will be required at times.

The department is has Full UKAS accreditation, and IBMS accreditation for training.
