Montpelier Health is an innovative and forward looking partnership comprising two practices, Montpelier Health Centre and Pilning Surgery. Montpelier Health Centre serves a diverse inner city population of approximately 21700 patients, with Pilning Surgery providing services to 4500 patients in a rural location. For both practices, our vision is to provide and support wellbeing at the heart of our communities.

We are a friendly and supportive team comprising five GP partners, one of whom is based permanently at our Pilning surgery, with a team of salaried GPs, experienced nursing staff, a clinical pharmacist, Physician Associate and Urgent Care practitioner.

We have a strong focus on education and continued learning and both practices are training practices.

We are also actively involved in our Primary Care Networks and have experience of being pilot sites for new initiatives.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated GP to join our Pilning Practice, to work between four and six sessions as week. Two of the sessions are required to be on a Monday, with the remaining sessions being flexible.

Pilning surgery is located within Pilning village, in South Gloucestershire, with easy access to Bristol, Cardiff and the Cotswolds.

We welcome applications from all GPs, whether experienced or newly qualified and would be delighted to offer continued mentorship and a supportive environment with which to start or continue your career.

We would welcome informal enquiries and visits to the practice. Please contact Anita Bush, Surgery General Manager to make arrangements.
