B3 Service Development and PMO Administrator

Are you looking for the next step to develop your administration skills in a project environment?

In our new role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support the governance and assurance processes of our project portfolio
  • Support the efficient and effective administration of decision making meetings and project groups
  • Learn how project decisions are made across the whole of SCFT and tools and techniques to support the administration of effective meetings

Our team supports a diverse range of SCFT projects; from major service improvements, to workforce developments, to local bespoke improvement work. You will have a central role within the team working with all the members. You will see through the administration of key governance and assurance meetings from start to finish; from confirming agendas, following up actions, ensuring the timely availability of papers, to keeping records of decisions. As you develop within the role you will have opportunities to support colleagues on individual projects e.g. assisting in the update of project plans, supporting the administration of project meetings and reporting project progress.

You will have solid administration skills including knowledge of MS Office, Excel and Powerpoint. You will have an eye for detail and a keen sense of accuracy. Our office, works to tight timescales to deliver projects and provide assurance of progress, you will thrive in a busy environment. You will have an ability to prioritise tasks and will enjoy communicating with people at all levels across the organisation. You will be given support to apply these skills to the administration of our key meetings, and to understand how your work connects to the critical improvements in patient care that the Trust is delivering with our PMO support.

The role is based at Brighton General Hospital and may require occasional travel to Trust locations e.g for meetings or training.
