Part Time Weekend Opportunity

This is a new exciting opportunity for the right person. We are looking at new ways to cover our 24/7 service for both CT and MRI. We would like to offer a weekend contract for part time covering a 8-6 service. Ideally, with experience in CT we would be happy to offer training into our friendly MRI team. We aim to be as accommodating as possible for the right individual(s).

We have a strong commitment to developing, encouraging and training our staff to fulfill their career choices. We actively encourage and support CPD and are proactive in providing opportunities for post graduate education. We will help support you in developing skills in a new modality and in the area you have experience of. Alongside the Lead CT/MRI Radiographer you will be fundamental in bringing these two friendly and dedicated teams together.

Both Departments have recently been refurbished with two CT and two MRI scanners. CT On-call is available to opt into . Both departments cover a variety of procedures including Neurology, Stroke, Orthopaedic, Oncology GI and Vascular within the Trust and the region, more than enough to keep you interested.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a friendly, dynamic and innovated departments situated within the Imaging Department at Chesterfield Hospital. The Hospital itself is situated in lovely grounds with a focus on supporting its staff. There is an outdoor gym available for staff and visitors and a number of on-going exercise classes. Applicants will have a DCR or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography and will be HCPC registered. This post will also require Criminal Record Bureau Disclosure.
