Clinical OfficeCo-Ordinator

Ophthalmology (fixed-term 1 year Secondment)

 

Band 4

 

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to further improve the ophthalmology services at Ashford Hospital. A 37.5 hour role of the Clinical Office Administrative Co-Ordinator is required to provide administrative support within the main clinical office; it requires a high level of organisational skills and someone who is good at communicating with a wide range of health care professionals as well as patients and their relatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for organising timetables, dealing with clinic capacity and the outpatient waiting lists for both new and follow up patients. Ideally the successful candidate will have an understanding of the 18 week pathway.

Computer skills are essential and training will be given on hospital administration systems.
