We are seeking highly motivated individual to join our friendly Administration Team in the busy and rewarding Emergency Department based at Macclesfield District General Hospital.

The post holder will work predominately in the Reception role but there will be times where you will be required to cover the Emergency Admission desk. The post holder will provide comprehensive reception and administration service ensuring patients are admitted to the Emergency Department and the Wards efficiently and accurately providing a high standard of customer care. The Administration staff work closely with other members of the emergency department teams supporting them with administration requests.

This is varied role and we want someone who truly embraces working within a diverse team in a busy and challenging environment, therefore you must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, have a pleasant and caring personality and have the ability to remain calm whilst working under pressure. You must be able to demonstrate that you have worked on your own and at times with limited supervision. Experience of working within the NHS is desirable.

Working within the Emergency Department the post holder will be expected to work Bank Holidays.

The hours per week are; 30 hours.

Rotas' in the Emergency Department cover 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
