An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Allied Health Professional Therapy technician to provide support to the Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy service to inpatients, outpatients, day hospice patients and community-based patients under the care of the Marie Curie Hospice. Following the assessment by the Senior Therapists, the emphasis is to provide on-going intervention based on the written care plan and patient-centred needs. The core function of the role will be to enable patients to maintain or improve their independence and quality of life through adopting a holistic approach to care. The post holder will be required to liaise with all service providers involved with the patient's care as required. The role will involve duties in the Day Hospice, In-patient Unit and the patient's own home which may or may not involve direct supervision
