The practices have a collaborative approach to working with mergers becoming common place to streamline workloads and Cumbria are leading on the up skilling of staff to support and sustain general practice for the future.

Fellview Healthcare Limited is a large practice based in West Cumbria primarily in and around the towns of Whitehaven and Egremont.

We operate over four sites – Flatt Walks (Whitehaven), Beech House (Egremont), Cleator Moor Health Centre (Cleator Moor) and Griffin Close (Frizington).

We have a combined list size of 23,200 patients and provide a wide range of services.

We have a strong clinical team of GP’s, Nurse Practitioners and Community Nurse Practitioners.

We are a training practice, high QOF achievers with a strong primary health care team to provide high quality care. We are forward thinking, innovative and our recent CQC visit (November 2015) rated the practice outstanding in two areas.

We are looking for permanent GP’s or those wishing to work as salaried GP’s.


8 Sessions per week

Six Weeks Holiday per Annum*

One Week Study leave per Annum

*Pro-rate dependent on number of sessions.

8 Sessions per week (usually over four days)

16 patients per session (10 minute appointments)

Share of Home Visits (usually 1-2day)

Share of paperwork (electronic/paper scripts/investigations/documents)

One day triage

Attendance at primary health care team meetings

Attendance at PLT training days


Duties/responsibility will be dependent upon number of sessions worked and will be done pro-rata.
