An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Speech and Language Therapy Associate Practitioner to work within the Speech and Language Therapy Service for Adults in the Hull and East Riding Adult Speech and Language Therapy Service. The team provides a service to adults over the age of 18 with acquired communication and swallowing difficulties arising from a range of neurological conditions.

You will work under the direction of the Speech and Language Therapists in the team, assisting the therapists in a range of duties including delivery of treatment programs. Experience of working with adults with communication disorders is essential for this post. You will need to have excellent communication and listening skills and be able to work as part of a team.

Experience of electronic record keeping would be an advantage.

The organisation is fully committed to staff development and a robust supervision and appraisal system is in place.
