Sleep Physiology Associate Practitioner

Job Reference: 425-A-19-36792

Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust
Sleep Physiology
£21,089 - £23,761 per annum pro rata

This is a wonderful opportunity to join a nationally regarded Paediatric Sleep Service which is expanding and developing to provide first class sleep diagnostic services to children from across the region.

You would be trained and supported to help the qualified Sleep Physiology staff to set up complex overnight sleep diagnostic studies, responding to any technical or patient needs overnight. You would also be expected to independently set up and monitor less complex studies, the results of which are scored by the Physiologist and then used by the Consultant staff to make a plan to manage the child's symptoms.

There are three vacancies with a mixture of shifts available including a number of overnight shifts and early evening 'twilight shifts', (18.5hr, 23hr and 26.5hr). Shifts start at 17:30 or 19:30 and finish at either 21:00 or 07:30. The Sleep Unit is open overnight Sunday-Friday.

If you are passionate about making a difference to childrens' lives, learning new skills and being part of a team and service that is growing we would love to hear from you
