Starting salary of £37,570 Per Annum

We are the largest organisation in the Eastern region. Our scale provides exciting opportunities for development, innovation, research, education and training.

We want the best staff. You want to make a difference.

As a result of the merger of Colchester and Ipswich hospitals on the 1st July 2018, East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT) is one of the largest NHS organisations in the region, employing over 10,000 staff and serving a population of almost 800,000 residents. The merger means we can provide the latest treatments locally, and be in a stronger position to save, grow and strengthen the many hospital and community services our residents rely on.

ESNEFT is an ambitious trust with a simple vision, to provide the communities we serve with excellent healthcare and build a better future for the people of East Suffolk and North Essex. To help us do this, we will work closely with our local partners to deliver more of the joined-up services and care our residents need.

For our staff and our patients we have the same philosophy: time matters. This new way of working will remove unnecessary stress and frustration caused by the systems we use and the way we work. We will concentrate on removing or improving the things we do that don't work for our patients. For our staff, this means more time to care for patients and greater opportunities to develop skills and experience.

If your ambition matches ours, it’s time to work together.

This is a new opportunity to provide senior project management skills and knowledge in the implementation of IT digitistion Projects across all sites.

As Senior Implementation Specialist you will work closely with the Head of Digital Strategy to:

  • Provide project management expertise and advise, overseeing key work streams for delivery of clinical systems
  • Manage system integration and interdependencies with other downstream systems
  • Oversee system testing and validation to allow for successful upgrade/implementation
  • Escalate project interdependencies, risk and issues that may impact on the service

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Senior Implementation Specialist/Senior Project Manager who wants to work with an established team to support the planning, co-ordination and delivery of clinical systems and digitisation to the whole organisation.

If you have the vision and enthusiasm to take on this role and share our commitment to put patients at the heart of everything we do and save both staff and patient time, then we’d love to hear from you.

Plaese note the primary focus for this role will be the delivery of the Trust wide Electronic Prescribing System

Open to internal and external candidates.

You can be based at Ipswich or Colchester but you must be prepared to travel.
