MCHFT was rated “Good” by the CQC during the inspection in 2018, and recently we were named as one of the best hospitals in the country (CHKS Top Hospital for 2019). The Radiology department has been recognised as the Best Training Placement for Radiologist Registrars for the last 3 years.

On the 25th January we would like to introduce you to our department, our service vision and our aims. We will be offering tours of the department, you will be able to meet our teams and we will have support available to discuss relocation and if you would like to have an interview on the day we can arrange that too!!!


The Medical Imaging Department has had major investment in CT & MRI, and has recently purchased 6 new DR mobiles. In 2020 we will be upgrading our last few non digital general rooms to DR and we will be opening a new Emergency Department CT and X ray room.

We provide a 24/7 CT and Plain film service and successful candidates will be expected to participate in the out of hour’s rota.
