Directorate Manager (Women & Children Division)

Agenda for Change - Band 8B

Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust seeks a dynamic Directorate Manager to enhance the management structure within the Women & Children Division. The post holder will provide leadership, transformation and innovation to the Directorate working closely with the Clinical Director and Nursing and Midwifery leaders. Reporting to the Clinical Directors, you will have responsibility for the operational and business management of both the Women’s and Children’s Directorates..

This is an exciting time to join the Women & Children Division at Worcestershire Acute as we move forward with the development of a 5 year strategy, together with nationally driven transformation in maternity and neonatal services. To deliver both our short and long term service objectives you must possess enthusiasm, drive and commitment as well as experience of change management and dealing with the challenges of day to day operational management of a clinical service.

This post is based at Worcestershire Royal Hospital and travel across the county to other sites is essential. The post-holder will take part in the managers on-call rota for the Trust.
