Due to promotion an exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and dynamic RN to benefit from a 12 month development role as a Junior Sister / Charge Nurse working on AMU.

AMU is a 51 bedded admissions unit which cares for level one and two patients with a variety of medical conditions in a fast turnover environment, therefore you will require the skills to be able to work under pressure, use your initiative and have the ability to work as part of a large team.

We are looking for individuals who can provide strong clinical and managerial leadership and are highly motivated with excellent communication skills. The Junior Sister / Charge Nurse role requires a close working relationship with the multi-professional team to ensure that evidence-based quality care is delivered with compassion to every patient.

You will be required to have high clinical standards with a passion for providing outstanding care for patients and staff alike. It is essential that you are good at promoting cooperation, building teams and developing people for the future, as well as focusing on your own professional growth. We are looking for someone who is keen to support and teach new skills and develop our junior staff, and who will listen and lead to make a difference to our patients and their families.
