Specialist Physiotherapist

An opportunity has arisen to join our Outpatient Neuro Rehabilitation Team. The team includes Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, who work closely with other teams, such as Community Therapy, Stroke Association and so on.

 

The caseload will include a variety of neurological conditions, both acute and long term. Patients attend for individual sessions and group based exercise classes.

The successful applicant will also be expected to become involved in the management of post-surgical breast cancer patients.

Applicants must have experience in treating neurological patients, as well as excellent communication skills.

 

Successful applicants will be expected to contribute to the supervision of junior staff and students, and will play a part in the day to day management of the department.

 

The successful applicant will be supported by clinical specialist and Band 7 physiotherapists

The working hours for this post will be 30.00 hours .

Based at Halton, Hospital way, Runcorn WA7 2DA, with some sessions at Warrington Hospital.

A charge of £60 (Enhanced) will be made by the successful candidate which will be deducted from the first 3 months’ salary. In addition to this, you will also be required to re-pay any future costs that may arise in relation to DBS fees.
