Are you an experienced ED nurse looking for a new challenge?

Do you want to be part of a friendly, vibrant team within a dynamic Emergency Department/Minor Injury unit in Cheltenham? We currently have temporary Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse opportunity (1 year).

Working within Gloucestershire Hospital’s Trust you will join one of the most improved Trusts this year as we continue to develop patient led services, and nursing roles that reflect the changes in Emergency Healthcare. Join us on our continuing journey to outstanding #J20

To help you do this you will be supported by a large multidisciplinary team which includes a team of 3 Senior Sister’s, a Matron and a practice development team.

We are looking for highly motivated emergency department nurses who possess both a strong clinical knowledge base and relevant skills set. To work with us you will need to demonstrate a kind and compassionate attitude. You will be flexible, enthusiastic and passionate about emergency care and have a commitment to improving service delivery and able to sustain new ways of working and develop nursing practice.

To come and join us and be part of our team, you will have a minimum of 4 years Emergency Care/ Acute nursing, a detailed understanding of recent developments in emergency care and be able to translate and implement this into quality nursing.
