Devon Doctors Ltd are currently recruiting for 111 Call Advisors to work in our 111 Services situated in the beautiful city of Exeter. There are full and part time positions available which will include working 3 weekends a month, evenings and overnights as our service runs 24/7 365 days a year.

About the position:

NHS 111 is a fundamental part of the Devon Integrated Urgent Care Service (IUCS) which is a non-emergency telephone service providing patient’s advice to the most appropriate urgent care service they require. As a 111 call advisor you will be answering inbound calls from members of the public in need of medical advice. Using NHS pathways script software and CASCADE alongside your own persuasive skills you will gain information from the caller to assess their situation and guide them to the most appropriate service for them.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Experience within a customer facing environment

· Excellent telephone manner

· A knowledge of the local geographical area

· A positive attitude

· The knowledge of skills and own limits.
