Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner

Contract: 37.5 hours per week (permanent)

Salary: £23,230 - £30,300 (pro-rata) depending on qualifications and experience

Location: Insight Calderdale, Halifax


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our well established team at our Calderdale service. As a vital member of the team, you will deliver a range of low intensity interventions for anxiety disorders and depression and will be full supported by a PWP Team Leader and Clinical Lead. This position is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and self-motivated individual wishing to progress their career in psychological therapies. The person should be committed to their own professional development

You will be joining Insight Healthcare, which is a highly regarded, national organisation and an experienced provider of IAPT services on behalf of the NHS. Our friendly and professional Calderdale team offer high and low intensity interventions and counselling across the area. As a key member of the team you will be valued for your contribution to maintaining Insight’s excellent reputation and helping us develop this further through innovative practice.

We would love to hear from you if you are:

  • A qualified PWP who has successfully completed an IAPT / similarly accredited PWP course (those due to qualify from an IAPT accredited course will also be considered)
  • Able to deliver high quality person-centred interventions that reflect local and national priorities and targets
  • Able to demonstrate good therapeutic relationships with people
  • An inspirational and collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
  • Able to deliver required performance targets
  • Committed to improving access to psychological therapies in Calderdale
