We are hosting an open day for IT professionals on 12th December, 10am to 2pm, in the Education Centre at Sandwell General Hospital.

Over the last 12 months the Trust has made a significant investment in IT and implemented Unity, our new electronic patient record system. This is a really exciting time for the team, with the opening of a brand new hospital on the horizon.

We are on a journey to become the best IT department possible. We are embracing new technologies, including AI bots, and moving to cloud innovations.

What to bring on the day

To ensure a smooth and swift transition into your new role, once you have been interviewed we will be on hand to begin your pre-employment checks. To help us do this, please ensure you bring along the following documents:

  • Passport or relevant right to work documentation
  • Driving licence
  • Proof of your current address in the form of a recent utility bill or bank statement
  • Proof of your National Insurance number
  • Proof of any changes of name if applicable
  • Qualification certificates
