Band 2 – Unity Sexual Health Reception team

We need two 16.25 hour fixed term 12 months (As part of this role you will be required to provide clerk duties at various community clinics throughout BNSSG. The locations of these clinics as as follows:

Charlotte Keel - Easton Bristol and Lawrence Weston

Please note each post will one Saturday in four at Unity Sexual Health (Central Clinic)

An opportunity has arisen within our reception Team for a two B2 Reception Clerks both fixed term for 12 months, working closely with the Team Leader at Unity Sexual Health (Central Clinic) and the Community Clinic Coordinator as you will be working in the Community at various locations with hours spread over a five day week also working 1 Saturday in 4.

As the post holder you will provide a comprehensive, efficient and reliable administrative service in relation to Reception and Telephone handling of patient enquiries, bookings for clinics being offered within Unity Sexual Health, maintenance of up to date patient records and support of other Departments within Unity Sexual Health with administrative duties.

Training will be provided within the team for Main Reception, Telephone call handling and running your Community Clinic.


  • Previous experience in Reception/Public facing areas to ensure a smooth service would be preferred.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills dealing with a variety of people both patients and clinical staff.
  • Must be proficient with MS Office software including Word, Outlook, Excel and able to learn new systems quickly such as Millcare our patient registration system.
  • Must possess attention to detail.
  • Flexible – within hours worked where the service demands and able to multi-task and prioritize work.
