The Northern Care Alliance NHS Group (NCA) unites five local hospitals to deliver high quality care across the North East of Greater Manchester.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Ward Clerk to provide efficient clerical support to the Paediatric Unit within the Emergency Medicine Department.

The role will involve working closely with the PANDA clinical teams to ensure our paediatric patients and their relatives receive optimum care.

You will be part of a small team of Ward Clerks who cover a 7 day service, therefore the role will involve working various shift patterns including weekends.

It is essential that you are a good team player, however you will have ownership of specific tasks and therefore must have the ability to work independently and adapt to an environment of changing priorities.

You should possess excellent communication skills, previous office experience, good keyboard skills, and experience of dealing with the public/patients.

Previous hospital experience and knowledge of PAS/PatientCentre would he highly desirable, however training can be provided.
