Medical Receptionist– Full and Part-Time Vacancies

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Medical receptionists to join our friendly, supportive and forward thinking team at Firs House Surgery in Histon. We are looking to recruit highly motivated and enthusiastic Medical Receptionists to join our friendly team who provide a high quality and efficient service to our patients.

Full Time - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday (08:00-13:00hrs and 14:00-18:30hrs split shift)

Part Time - Monday, Tues & Weds (08:00-13:00hrs and 14:00-18:30hrs split shift)

BANK- Minimum of 5 hours per week(pro rata) offered.

Duties will include answering the telephone, dealing with patient enquiries at reception and administrative duties. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate competency in administration with excellent communication skills and have a full and flexible approach to work within the practice rota system. Full training will be provided.

The right candidate will need to be flexible with shifts/hours as this is a post designed to cover Receptionist annual leave.

Firs House would be your base and you would also be working out of the branch surgery at Telegraph Street, Cottenham. We offer GMS and additional services (including extended hours) to 13,500 patients in a village on the outskirts of Cambridge. Our Practice was rated GOOD in a recent CQC inspection and we strive to consistently offer the best care for our patients.

We are an EMIS web practice.
