The Northern Care Alliance NHS Group (NCA) unites five local hospitals to deliver high quality care across the North East of Greater Manchester.

Salford's Renal Team are looking to recruit flexible, motivated and passionate staff to work within its Renal Services.

When on the renal unit you will complete your haemodialysis competencies and gain valuable specialist renal skills. Time spent in the Renal Unit Short Stay will provide opportunity for training in chemotherapy, post op care and nurse led discharge. Venepuncture, cannualtion and blood culture competencies will also be completed.

We encourage all new starters to experience all areas of renal and rotational posts across the haemodialysis unit and renal ward (H3) can be offered.

Salford Royal is a tertiary centre for Renal patients serving the West of Greater Manchester with inpatient, outpatient and in-centre haemodialysis. We look after high care patients both on the renal unit as day cases and on the ward when they are admitted to one of the 3 high care beds.

We also have teams supporting community peritoneal and home haemodialysis as well as Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) management are also on site.

There are currently 4 satellite dialysis units in the West Sector to Salford Royal Hospital operating in Bolton, Rochdale, Oldham and Wigan.

Salford Royal has teamed up with housing association Salix Homes to provide a 26-apartment complex for doctors, nurses and other clinical staff new to the Trust. Please enquire upon appointment to review availability.
