Barnet Integrated LD team has a opportunity for 2 band 6 nurses to join their dedicated and forward thinking team. In our service, each nurse has a lead role, the Challenging Behaviour Nurse is an exciting lead which helps implement the Transforming Care Agenda. You will have access to a supportive multidisciplinary team, working as a key member of the Challenging Behaviour Pathway, helping you achieve your development objectives whilst delivering excellent clinical care. We are looking for a full time and a 0.8WTE post to join our team.

You will be part of a friendly and dynamic nursing team and can expect to utilise your knowledge, skills and experience by promoting quality care through evidence based practice and values based approaches.

The Community Learning Disability Nurse - challenging behaviour lead will be part of the MDT challenging behaviour pathway, providing holistic and coordinated care. The post holder will work towards delivering PBS plans as part of the pathway as well as delivering specialist nursing support. This team benefits from two lead nurses focusing on improving the lives of people with learning disabilities who display behaviour that challenge.
