GYNAECOLOGY WARDS

There is currently vacancies for Registered Nurses across the inpatient and day case gynaecology wards, part of the Gynaecology Directorate.

These posts will enable you to gain experience in early pregnancy problems, abortion care, urogynaecology, general gynaecology, and acute post-operative nursing.

You will be required to support the Ward Manager in ensuring high standards of care are delivered to every patient, really making every contact count.

No previous experience working in Gynaecology is necessary, but you must be able to demonstrate a clear interest in Women’s Health. In return, we will work with you to develop your clinical skills and provide you with opportunities for on-going development.

Successful Applicants will be required to work shifts, including internal rotation to night duty.

Both preceptorship and clinical supervision are available.

In 2021 Birmingham is set to introduce a Clean Air Zone (CAZ) to reduce harmful emissions, improve air quality in the city and the health of our children and young people. Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship
