The Northern Care Alliance NHS Group (NCA) unites five local hospitals to deliver high quality care across the North East of Greater Manchester.

Our Care Organisations are designed to operate within our group arrangement of hospitals, community and healthcare services which bring together over 17,000 staff and the services of The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust and Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust. Reache Northwest was established at Salford Royal Foundation NHS Trust in April 2003. It is funded by Health Education England, North West to support refugee health professionals in their return to their professional roles in the NHS. Reache North West is the UK’s leading centre in this field and has won national awards.

An administrator is required to help provide a comprehensive, efficient and effective administrative and clerical service to the Reache multi professional team. This will also include ordering, record keeping, maintaining data bases, and minute taking, as well as responding to enquiries, by telephone, email or face to face mainly from people whose first language is not English. Tact and diplomacy will be essential qualities as the post holder will be required to deal with sensitive information. Additionally the post holder will require a high degree of organisational skills be numerate and have an excellent working knowledge of administrative systems.

We offer the exciting opportunity to work in a unique friendly environment interacting and contributing to the work of a skilled multi disciplinary team of doctors, nurses, teachers and volunteers.

You will possess previous administration experience, excellent organisational and communication skills, pay attention to detail and have the ability to work independently and on their own initiative. RSA 2 typing or equivalent and a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office are essential to operate efficiently in this varied and exciting role.
