We have a range of Band 5 Nursing roles available across The Becton Centre (Sevenairs Rd, Beighton, Sheffield, S20 1NZ) and are showcasing these at our recruitment open day on the 7th March.

Sheffield Children’s NHS FT is a specialised Paediatric Hospital with a CAMH Service and a Centre of Excellence with our services amongst the best in the country.

Applicants must be RMN or LDN - with registration with the NMC.

You should have good communication skills and a commitment towards personal and professional development.

Full orientation and support will be given to successful candidates and we have an outstanding Band 5 development programme.

 

The Lodges/Services with vacancies are:

  • Emerald - inpatient child and adolescent mental health unit ward for under 14 years
  • Sapphire - inpatient child and adolescent mental health unit ward for 14 – 18 years
  • Ruby - inpatient child and adolescent mental health unit ward for learning disability patients with a mental health condition

If a DBS check is required for the post you are applying for any offer of employment will be provisional on a satisfactory DBS check being obtained.

In line with other NHS Organisations in the Yorkshire and Humber Region a successful candidate appointed into a post within this Trust will be required to pay the DBS check fee (£45). This is customarily payable over 4 months as a salary deduction once employed by the Trust. If you receive a conditional offer letter, complete your DBS application and later withdraw from the recruitment process, an invoice will be raised via the Trust's finance department to recoup the outlay.
