We are seeking an enthusiastic Paediatric Nurse to join our dedicated multi-disciplinary team on Kingfisher Ward.

We are looking for a registered Paediatric Nurse with a minimum of 6 months post-registration experience.

Come and join the multi-disciplinary team caring for babies, children and young people from 0-17 years with a range of conditions including: medical, surgical, ENT, psychological and orthopaedic.

There is a Paediatric Assessment Unit (PAU) located on the unit, managing emergency referrals, ambulating patients, ward reviews and venepuncture. PAU aim to minimise the hospital stay and prevent admission wherever possible.

There is a busy Paediatric Day Surgery Unit located on the unit managing elective surgery for children, which usually operates Monday to Friday.

DBS - If you join us and need a new DBS check, we will recover the costs through a salary deduction (£40 - enhanced check or £23 - standard)
