If you have experience as a supervisor, enjoy working with people and are keen to develop your skills further, then the Medical Equipment Library could be the place for you. We are looking for an individual to join the team who is confident dealing with people at all levels.

The team currently operates between 08:00-17:30 Monday to Friday and is responsible for the delivery, collection and cleaning of medical equipment. You will work closely with a second supervisor, ensuring that equipment requests are promptly allocated to staff and ensuring that urgent requests are prioritised.

The team consists of seven staff, who supervisors will allocate duties to on a day to day basis.

You will share responsibility for ensuring that computer records of loaned equipment are maintained. You will also share responsibility for ensuring the Equipment Library staff follow correct procedures by ‘shadowing’ them on a regular basis, to identify any gaps and also identify any opportunities for improvements.

Whilst previous experience working in a healthcare is desirable, it is not essential as full training will be provided.

If you are interested in applying for this position, then you are encouraged to contact either Andy Evans or Bettina Deacon, on 01225 821832 / 01225 821846 for an informal chat to find out more about this opportunity.
