Referral Administrator, London SE1

This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team within the NHS. If you feel like you can thrive in a buzzing, busy and energetic call centre environment, then this is the role for you!

Omnes Healthcare provides community based specialist healthcare services nationally. Our services currently include Cardiology, Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Dermatology and Ultrasound. Each service has its own dedicated administration team responsible for managing referrals into the service from local doctors, liaising with patients to book appointments on the phone, and to report on activity on a weekly basis.

You will oversee and manage the activities of the contracted clinics in support of the business in order to further the efficient delivery of patients’ services nationally. The post holder will have particular responsibility for booking clinic appointments, dealing with enquires, typing and receipt/despatch of correspondence. A high volume of your workload will associate with conducting telephone calls; and a high degree of confidentiality, sensitivity, discretion and tact is required.

The post holder must have the ability to work with a great degree of autonomy and think on their feet to deal with enquiries and make day-to-day decisions without a reliance to the line manager, who will be available to assist with the more complicated issues.
