Corporate Risk Manager, Band 8a

 

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Patient Safety & Corporate Risk Management team.  This is a pivotal role in implementing the risk management policy and strategy across the Trust. The post is vital to ensure that business, clinical, financial & strategic risks are understood and that all staff have full awareness of how to report and proactively manage risks. Also the post holder will be responsible for the launch and management of Datix web Risk Registers across the Trust.

Alongside experience in risk management, the post holder will work with the Patient Safety Team to ensure adverse incidents are proactively managed and lead the delivery of a comprehensive range of multi-disciplinary training, including risk management, patient safety, root cause analysis & human factors.

You will require excellent communication skills, an enquiring mind with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with an ability to autonomously coordinate a range of responsibilities and demands.
