Advanced Practitioner - First Contact Physiotherapist - Central Sussex (Brighton and Hove, Mid Sussex, Crawley and Horsham) and Coastal West Sussex

Are you an experienced senior musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapist looking for a new challenge? Sussex MSK Partnership (SMSKP) Central and Coastal are looking to further develop their First Contact Practitioner workforce to work at Band 8a or band 7 level commensurate with experience.

We anticipate staff will rotate between advanced practice and FCP roles whilst still being based within the wider MSK team, this will depend on which location you are working. Training, mentorship and ongoing support will be provided to successful candidates in these roles. The service is being led by Sally York, Laura Finucane and Jessica Gent who have been involved in developing the national programme for FCP roles. SMSKP and Coastal have already run several successful FCP pilots which we are now looking to expand. We are happy to accept applications from clinicians who may only want part time work or wish to work under secondment as part of their current role with the prior agreement of their employer.

Sussex MSK Partnership is made up of Sussex Community Foundation NHS Trust, Here, Horder Healthcare and Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. We are a unique, local, not for profit partnership bringing together primary care, specialist musculoskeletal care, community and mental health and well-being experts to deliver the whole musculoskeletal service in central Sussex. Our commitment is to a truly integrated MSK service that is effective, efficient and compassionate.

As well as the partnership organisations we also work closely with specialist partner suppliers from patient charities, GP groups, diagnostic providers and local providers of secondary care.

Successful candidates will be employed either by Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust or Here.
