Are you working as a qualified audiologist in an Adult Audiology center but wanting to specialise in Paediatric Audiology?


Do you have Paediatric experience and are wishing to expand on your knowledge and skills in this area with a dedicated team of Paediatric audiologists.

We have an opportunity for a dedicated, competent, and flexible Specialist Paediatric Audiologist who is able to react and adapt to the ever changing needs of a Specialist Paediatric Audiology center and is able to lead assistant audiologists to get the best out of our complex patients.

Our department is IQIPS accredited and covers all aspects of Paediatric diagnostic and rehabilitative Audiology with the exception of cochlear implantation and rehabilitation.We are co-located with ENT and have medical input via a dedicated Community Paediatrician for children with permanent childhood deafness.

There is an expectation for a regular monthly inclusion on a Thursday evening and a Saturday ENT rota which is paid at an enhanced hourly rate.

For the right candidate we will support with further training and development to ensure your skills match our high requirements and skills.

If a DBS check is required for the post you are applying for any offer of employment will be provisional on a satisfactory DBS check being obtained.

In line with other NHS Organisations in the Yorkshire and Humber Region a successful candidate appointed into a post within this Trust will be required to pay the DBS check fee (£45). This is customarily payable over 4 months as a salary deduction once employed by the Trust. If you receive a conditional offer letter, complete your DBS application and later withdraw from the recruitment process, an invoice will be raised via the Trust's finance department to recoup the outlay.
