Clinical Site Manager

Permanent Full Time Days/Nights

An opportunity has arisen to join The Clinical Site Management Team at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. We are currently looking for a permanent Clinical Site Manager to join the Patient Flow Team under the new Emergency Care Directorate. Applicants must be Registered Nurses with extensive and current experience in an acute hospital setting. They must be patient centred, have up to date clinical skills and an understanding of current acute hospital performance indicators.

The Clinical Site Manager role is integral to the successful operation of the hospital; you will need to be a quick thinker and strong leader with excellent problem solving skills, able to negotiate sound operational decisions in rapidly changing situations, often under pressure so a calm and pleasant manner is essential.

A broad overview of responsibilities includes managing the health boards bed capacity, patient flow and assisting in the achievement of key performance and quality standards (e.g. emergency and elective admission access targets, single sex accommodation, infection prevention). You will also be required to, support safe staffing levels out of hours and will have overall responsibility for the hospital site with support from the on call senior manager.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
