BWC Management Services Limited (BWCMS), trading as Vital Services, was established as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Trust in response to these changing needs. The sole focus of BWCMS is on the provision of estates and facilities services, and most importantly the staff who provide these crucial services which are fundamental to the Trust being able to deliver world-class care. All Estates, Medical Engineering and Facilities staff are employed directly by BWCMS and although not an NHS employee, are very much a part of the BWC family, working together to be ‘a world-leading team, providing world-leading care.’


Facilities Co Ordinator

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Facilities team in a business support role.

The post is primarily one of coordination with a significant responsibility to collate, analyse and interpret data from various sources and to demonstrate compliance against key performance indicators.

The post holder will also be expected to support a range of projects, to provide day to day management of site car parking on the Women’s hospital site and undertake contract monitoring for transport services.

The successful candidate will need to be resilient, capable of working independently in an organised and methodical manner and able to work to deadlines.

A strong track record in people and resource management coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also important.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the Facilities team where a willingness to work flexibly and a ‘can do’ attitude are essential.

Vital Services is the trading name for BWC Management Services Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary company of Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.

Notes:

i. Unless point ii applies, this role will be appointed to the Company’s terms and conditions on Grade D (full time salary range £26k-£30k).
