The unit provides specialist palliative care and end-of-life care to residents of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey.

You will have preferably gained some experience working with end of life patients, (newly qualified RNs will be considered) more importantly though you will have an interest in career progression within the palliative care speciality. The position will be challenging and rewarding, giving you the opportunity to develop your nursing skills and knowledge further. In this role you will be supported to learn to coordinate the unit when on duty and mentorship of students.

The successful candidate will be an adaptable team player with good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. You will also understand the patient’s journey and the role that all the departments within the Hospice contribute to this.
