An exciting opportunity has arisen within LCH for a Senior Project Manager. The post holder will be responsible for leading and managing defined projects for the Trust. It will also be a requirement to manage the multidisciplinary team and supporting the Programme Manager delivering transformational change.

We are looking for someone who will provide leadership and focus for the project teams and support the Programme Manager to successfully deliver projects within programmes of strategic importance to the Trust. You will pro-actively communicate with key stakeholders on the development and delivery of the projects, ensuring management is in line with best practice standards and risks are managed and benefits realised.

You require sound working knowledge and experience of project management and have good organisational and communication skills. An ability to influence and negotiate in order to support change processes is essential. You will pro-actively communicate with key stakeholders on the development and delivery of the projects in varying forums such as Steering Groups and Boards.

Senior Project Managers are required to:
Manage, guide and support project teams and service leads regarding project initiation, requirements, design, development, training, and implementation planning to deliver projects as agreed.

Senior Project Managers also ensure:
Financial realisation has been achieved
All benefits are realised
All objectives have been fulfilled

If you are successful in being offered a position which involves working with patients, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The Trust will administer the DBS check on your behalf and will recover the cost (Enhanced £48.83 or Standard £30) from your salary. There will be no charge if you are enrolled in the DBS Update Service.
