The Northern Care Alliance NHS Group (NCA) unites five local hospitals to deliver high quality care across the North East of Greater Manchester.

The Alliance provides the benefits of scale but delivers this locally through multiple hospital sites which make up four new Care Organisations – Bury/Rochdale, North Manchester, Oldham and Salford. Our Care Organisations are designed to operate within our group arrangement of hospitals, community and healthcare services which bring together over 17,000 staff and the services of The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust and Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust. The Northern Care Alliance is an NHS Group formed by bringing together two NHS Trusts, Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.

As an NHS Group, we can deliver a more co-ordinated way of providing safe and sustainable local health services, consistent with the concepts of standardisation of best practice across our hospitals and community services in Greater Manchester. Our four Care Organisations (Salford, Oldham, North Manchester, Bury & Rochdale) provide services to over one million people in Greater Manchester and the North West.

The Senior Inclusion & Equality Practioner will work with the EDI Programme Manager to ensure that equality issues are embedded into its daily functions and activities.

You will provide high levels of expertise and specialist knowledge to ensure that the Trust is compliant with its statutory duties in accordance with its EDI Strategy, including the corporate objectives.

Please be advised that whilst this post is based at various locations across the Northern Care Alliance , all new starters to Corporate posts within the Alliance will be employed by Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and be on a Salford Contract.
