We are looking for an Occupational Therapist Clinical Lead for the organisation. You will be an experienced Occupational Therapist with extensive clinical and leadership skills looking to take on a pivotal professional practice role at a time of change and transformation within health and social care services in Plymouth, South Hams and West Devon.

 

Based at Windsor House (and working across the Livewell footprint) you will be an integral part of the Allied Health Professional Leadership team and will work closely with other AHP profession specific leads as well as Therapy Leads across the community and urgent care services. You will be supported and managed by the AHP Lead for Livewell and be expected to participate in and inform the wider health and social care system regarding Occupational Therapy professional practice. This will include close partnership working with our colleagues at University Hospitals Plymouth and Plymouth City Council as well as the private and voluntary sectors to achieve the best outcomes for the people who use our services.

 

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, demonstrating an advanced level of competence in a wide range of social care and/or clinical areas. They will have proven negotiation and leadership skills with a flair for creative problem solving.

 

At Livewell SW we have a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice, in-service training, individual performance review and personal development planning. We provide excellent support through regular line management meetings, post-graduate education, clinical supervision and have strong academic links with the University of Plymouth, which also provides undergraduate therapy courses.
