Speech and Language Therapy
£24,214 to £30,112 per annum pro rata

We are looking for Speech & Language Therapists to join our Mainstream Paediatric Service. Sessions are available on a permanent contract.

You will work with children on the mainstream primary caseload. The caseload is school aged, and primarily school based, with some clinic work. It is extremely wide ranging, including children with complex needs.There will be opportunities to gain a wide range of paediatric experience in this post and you will find a strong commitment to professional training and development, together with friendly peer support.

Sheffield Speech & LanguageTherapy operates on a city wide basis. It is committed to providing a high quality service and offers excellent opportunities for development. All therapists are required to undertake supervision and a programme of continuous professional development, which forms part of the individual performance review system.

Applicants should be registered with the HPC and Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists (UK) at the time of starting work.

The successful candidate must have access to their own transport (please state this in your application).

In line with other NHS Organisations in the Yorkshire and Humber Region a successful candidate appointed into a post within this Trust will be required to pay the DBS check fee (£45). This is customarily payable over 4 months as a salary deduction once employed by the Trust. If you receive a conditional offer letter, complete your DBS application and later withdraw from the recruitment process, an invoice will be raised via the Trust's finance department to recoup the outlay.
