N.B. A qualification is required for this post - NNEB, NVQ L3 in Early Years and Education/Childcare, CACHE diploma, BTEC national diploma in Early Years/Childcare.

If you are enthusiastic about ensuring positive outcomes for children, we currently have a vacancy for a Community Nursery Nurse based in the Healthy Child Programme team in Crawley (Broadfield Children and Family Centre), West Sussex.

You will be supporting the team in the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme to children aged 0-19 years and their families, but predominantly working alongside Health Visitors with the under 5s. We are looking for enthusiastic practitioners, preferably with experience of working with families experiencing a wide range of health and social needs. Experience in behaviour management, developmental reviews, parenting advice and breastfeeding is desirable as is an understanding of safeguarding and working with vulnerable families.

This is an exciting place to work and we have excellent partnership working with Children and Family Centres and other agencies.

We are looking for a flexible, motivated and enthusiastic individual who can communicate effectively, and is able to work independently as well as part of a team.
