Officially launched in February 2017, Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust brings together Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Birmingham Women’s Hospital together under one united NHS Foundation Trust – the first of its kind in the UK.

With effect from 1st April 2019, all new starters to the Trust or existing staff who are appointed to a new role of a higher band (promotion) will be subject to the new Pay Progression Framework that was agreed as part of the 2018 NHS Pay Deal.

Under the new arrangements, automatic annual salary increments have been replaced with ‘pay steps’. In order for staff to progress through their ‘pay step’, they will be required to attend a pay step review meeting and meet the criteria for pay progression.

The FTB partnership led by Birmingham Children’s Hospital will be working with the combined expertise of our partners The Priory Group, Beacon UK and The Children’s Society to deliver new and innovative services.

We have a 18.75 position available within our Admin Team in the south of the city. We are looking for an individual who can work independently and work well as a team. We are flexible in our approach to supporting applicants to undertake the necessary development, we are committed to providing a training plan to employees ofForward Thinking Birmingham

The post holder is expected to be the point person for the medical and clinical team. They will be the lead for the inbox of work to be completed by the administration team. They will complete and delegate work, manage diaries for consultants and medics as well as line manage the staff team within the pathway.
